Margo is the Executive Assistant for Founding Partner and Financial Advisor, Alan Bolotin. With almost 40 years of experience in the financial, high-tech, and nonprofit/community action spaces, she brings a unique expertise regarding client service, technical knowledge, and administrative and process management.
Margo began her career working for several high tech and investment firms including LTX Corporation, Waters Chromatography, The Boston Company, and Owl Scientific. Prior to Bolotin Financial Group, she worked closely with the founder of a small insurance business for 14+ years, helping transition the company to a registered investment advisory outfit with over 230 million in assets under management.
Her main role at Bolotin Financial is to support Alan so he is free to work closely and comprehensively with his clients in all aspects of their financial, business, retirement and succession planning. She does so by handling pre- and post- meeting support, office management, client service and new business processing.
Margo makes client’s needs her foremost priority and endeavors to make each person feel they are part of the Bolotin Financial Group family. She especially appreciates the high level of skill, expertise and client-focused thinking that the entire Bolotin team possesses.
In her free time, she runs Three Fold Farm with her husband of 35+ years, breeding the critically endangered Canadian Horse. She has dedicated much of her time through the years to community groups and associations, including serving on the Hamilton-Wenham Special Education Parent Advisory Council, as editor of the Canadian Horse Breeders Association magazine, as president of New England Cheval Canadien and as a Unitarian Universalist Deacon. She holds a BA in Mass Communications from Boston University, a certification in Equine Reproduction from the University of Vermont, her Social Media Marketing certification and is a certified Our Whole Lives (OWL) educator.
