The Bolotin Financial Group believes that it is imperative to understand the client’s specific objectives when building investment strategy for any and has developed a 6-step process to help achieve those attainable goals. 

Step 1: Initial meeting to define where you have been, where you are today, and where you want to go.

Bolotin Financial uses a proven planning process to coordinate each client’s financial life by understanding where they have been, where they are today and where they want to go in the future. All clients receive this complimentary initial “Financial Check-Up.”

Step 2:  Gather information to understand the present financial situation

At this point, Bolotin Financial reviews various account statements and other documents to develop a qualitative and quantitative assessment and establishes individual financial goals such as education planning, retirement planning, estate planning or other specific requests. A client’s time-frame for various goals and their attitudes toward risk are also defined during this stage and it helps to tailor specific recommendations moving forward.

Step 3:  Analyze and evaluate pertinent data and information

Bolotin Financial uses the powerful Personal Financial View software and a variety of analytical tools to evaluate a client’s financial picture. This includes a comprehensive analysis of asset allocation within a client’s investment portfolios and a review of their holdings and policies.  This helps to identify the strengths and weaknesses of a client’s existing financial situation and provides a clear viewpoint that where they currently stand with respect to their desired financial goals.

Step 4:  Developing a personalized strategy

Based on this comprehensive analysis, Bolotin Financial develops recommendations in the context of the proposed strategy. Alternative scenarios are also provided for comparison and all the initial planning assumptions are confirmed.

Step 5:  Implementing financial solutions and strategies

The Bolotin Financial Group works as a partner with clients to determine the best implementation method for each of the financial plan. This often involves collaboration with other professionals such as CPA’s and Attorneys. (Bolotin Financial can work in conjunction with a client’s existing professional relationships or recommend appropriate resources from their extensive network as needed.) Step 6:  Monitoring financial plans on an ongoing basis

Through Personal Financial View (PFV) software, Bolotin Financial monitors client’s plans and progress over time in accordance with the scope of the relationship.  Appropriate modifications are made as changes occur in a client’s personal and/or business life or in the market overall. Communication is key and clients are always informed and educated on new strategies including solutions that may become available over time.
